What is a QR code business card?
A QR code business card is a digital way to share your contact information. Instead of handing out a physical card, you print or display a QR code that anyone can scan with their smartphone camera to instantly visit your profile, save your contact, or connect on social media.
How do I create a free QR code for my business card?
Use the tool above — paste your website or LinkedIn URL, pick your brand colours, and download the PNG for free. For a complete digital business card with NFC sharing, lead capture, and analytics, create a free SankhCard at sankhlabs.com/sankhcard.
What size QR code should I use for a business card?
For print on a standard 3.5x2 inch business card, a QR code of at least 1cm x 1cm works reliably. We recommend generating at 300 to 400px for high-resolution print output.
Can I customise the colour of my QR code?
Yes. Use the colour pickers above to choose any foreground (dot) colour and background colour. Ensure sufficient contrast — dark dots on a light background scan most reliably. Avoid light dots on dark backgrounds for printed use.
What is the difference between a QR code and an NFC business card?
A QR code requires someone to open their camera app and scan a printed or displayed image. An NFC (Near Field Communication) business card uses a chip that transfers data when tapped against a smartphone — no camera needed. SankhCard supports both QR and NFC sharing from a single profile.
